The Christian Life is about you having a personal friendship with Jesus. His greatest gift to us is not the things He gives us, but the fact He has given us Himself. We want to help foster that relationship so that you become more like Him.

In our journey to become like Jesus, we need to walk with others. In today's "rugged individual" culture, we believe that we were created for community. We desire to nurture an atmosphere where we can be authentically ourselves as we help one another grow stronger in our faith.

The church is the only organization that exists not just for the sake of its members, but also for the sake of its non-members. Loving God cannot be separated from loving our neighbors. A fundamental question we have asked ourselves is; If BCCC was to burn down, would our community even care?

We believe that God is the creator and ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.

The Bible is God's word to all people. Human authors wrote it, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is without any mixture of error.

Jesus Christ is the son of God. He is co-equal with God the Father. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for sin of all mankind by dying on the cross. He rose from the dead after three days to demonstrate his power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven and will return again to gather all who believe in him and take them to spend eternity with him.

The Holy Spirit is co-equal with God the Father and the Son. He is present in the world to make men aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He lives in every born again Christian from the moment of their Salvation. He provides the Christian with the powerful living, understanding of spiritual truth and guidance for doing God's will. The Christian seeks to live under the control of the Holy Spirit on a daily basis and is evidenced by the fruit of the Spirit being manifested in his or her life.Christian. It is the grace and keeping power that gives this security.

Mankind is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like him in character. We are the supreme object of God's creation. Although we have tremendous potential for good, we are marred by sin. This separates us from God.

Salvation is a gift from God to mankind. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can we be saved from sin's penalty. Eternal life begins the moment we receive Jesus Christ into our lives by faith.

Because God gives eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in that salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian. It is the grace and keeping power that gives this security.

Mankind was created to exist forever. We will exist either eternally separated from God by sin, or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. To be eternally separated from God is hell. To be in union with God is eternal life. Heaven and hell are places of eternal existence.
